چگونه فرزندانی مستقل بار آوریم ؟

 کودک بودن گاهی اوقات بسیار ناامیدکننده می شود، به همین دلیل در اینجا از نحوه تقویت اعتماد به نفس صحبت کرده ایم. کودکان و بچه های پیش دبستانی می بینند که خواهر و برادرهای بزرگتر و والدین آنها هر کاری را به راحتی انجام می دهند و این شاید آنها را ناامید کند.

با در نظر گرفتن این مطلب که اعتماد به نفس از توانایی و مهارت در چیزی می آید، چند راه برای قویتر کردن فرزندانتان معرفی می کنیم که از طریق آنها می توانید حس ناامیدی و ناراحتی کودک از ناتوانی در انجام بعضی کارها را از بین ببرید.

1. بگذارید خودش کارهایش را انجام دهد.
گاهی پدر و مادر برایشان راحت نیست که دخالت نکنند و هنگامی که کودک در تلاش است کاری انجام دهد زود به کمک او می شتابند. گاهی از این که فرزندتان در انجام کاری وقت زیادی تلف می کند و نمی تواند فوراً آن را انجام دهد خسته می شوید. ولی باید اجازه دهید او این تجربه ها را پشت سر بگذارد و با کمک کردن به او در واقع به نفع او کاری نکرده اید. باید بگذارید او شانس یادگیری درس هایی در خصوص این کارها را داشته باشد و به او فرصت بدهید تا ببیند خودش چه کار می تواند بکند. این به او قدرت می دهد.

2. بگذارید تقلا کند.
پدر و مادرها دوست دارند موفقیت فرزندانشان را ببینند و اغلب برایشان سخت است که ببینند کودک در حال تقلا است. ولی باید در مقابل این وسوسه مقاومت کنید و به او کمک نکنید و بگذارید تلاشش را بکند. به او فرصت بدهید تا با مشکلات روبرو شود و آنها را خودش حل و فصل کند. به این فکر کنید که وقتی کودک به تلاش و چالش با مشکلات ادامه می دهد درس مهمی می گیرد و یاد می گیرد که نباید تسلیم شود و باید ناامیدی و ناراحتی را تحمل کند تا به هدفش برسد.

البته هیچکس نمی خواهد که فرزندش ناراحتش شود و این ناراحتی به او فشار بیاورد، ولی کمی ناامیدی هم باعث می شود که کودک مقاومت بیشتری داشته باشد. وقتی دیدید که لازم است مداخله کنید و به او کمک کنید، سعی کنید خودتان کاملاً کنترل را در دست نگیرید و فقط کمی راهنمایی اش کنید، مثلاً اگر در حال بازی با پازل است، کمک شما نباید حل کردن کامل پازل باشد، بلکه فقط باید او را راهنمایی کنید. وقتی برای موفقیت در هر کاری به فرزندتان کمک می کنید، در شرایط سخت و دشوار او احساس ناتوانی خواهد کرد.

3. از او کمک بخواهید.
برای بچه های 2 تا 4 ساله هیچ چیز مانند کمک خواستن از آنها، حس خوبی به آنها نمی دهد. به او بگویید: «میای به مامان کمک کنی؟ من نمی تونم این کارو انجام بدم.» به او کاری را بسپارید که واقعاً بتواند انجام دهد، مثلاً بگذارید دستمال سفره ها را روی میز بچیند.

4. برایش نقش بازی کنید.
مثلاً تظاهر کنید که در کاری مهارت ندارید و نمی توانید آن را انجام دهید و از او بخواهید که به شما کمک کند. مثلاً اگر پازل بازی می کنید، به او بگوئید که نمی دانید قطعات پازل باید کجا قرار گیرند و بگذارید که او مداخله کند و به بزرگسالی که ظاهراً پازل بلد نیست کمک کند. این به او کمک می کند که بفهمد می تواند کارهایی را انجام دهد که بزرگترها از انجام آن عاجزند.

بچه ها نه تنها می توانند مسئولیت پذیر باشند، بلکه این برای آنها بسیار مفید است. با این کارها می توانید باعث شوید که کودک حس کند یکی از اعضای مفید خانواده است و توانایی های او مهم هستند. این موجب کاهش ناامیدی کودک و افزایش مهارت و اعتماد به نفس او می شود.
